LAHORE – Hundreds of Pakistanis migrate to Saudi Arabia every year for their jobs and it is necessary for them to get National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis from Nadra before travelling abroad.NADRA is responsible for managing, recording, and issuing NICOPs to the Pakistani diaspora residing in Saudi Arabia or other countries. All citizens living abroad can obtain a NICOP card through a straightforward process, which allows visa-free travel to Pakistan for those with dual nationality.
Pakistani residents in Saudi Arabia and other countries can get the new Smart NICOP by visiting any NADRA center. The fee structure for Smart NICOP varies by region, with Saudi Arabia classified under Zone B. NADRA offers three categories for issuing NICOPs for Saudi Arabia: Normal, Urgent, and Executive.As of July 2024, the standard fee for NICOP in Saudi Arabia is Rs5,620, while the urgent fee is Rs8,440. Additionally, NADRA offers an executive category to customers, with a fee of Rs11,250.
