A total 76 percent Filipinos believe that the country is headed in the right direction, findings in the March 2023 OCTA First Quarter survey results released on Saturday, May 6, showed. | ManilaBulletin

According to the OCTA’s “Tugon ng Masa” survey conducted from March 24 to 28, 76 percent of Filipinos think the country is headed in the right direction based on the policies and programs articulated and implemented by the current administration.Across the major areas, the Visayas has the highest percentage of Filipinos who believe the country is headed in the right direction, followed byHowever, only 59 percent of Filipinos in the National Capital Region share this sentiment.

Across socio-economic classes, Class D has the highest percentage of Filipinos who think the country is headed in the right direction, followed by Class E . In contrast, 65 percent of adult Filipinos in Class ABC believe the country is headed in the right direction. "Interestingly, adult Filipinos belonging to Class ABC have more respondents that are ambivalent about the trajectory of the country's direction compared to any other socio-economic class," OCTA said.
