This momentous win marked Pakistan's first-ever medal in shooting at Asian GamesYoung shooter Kishmala Talat clinched the bronze medal at the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.Competing in the 10m Air Pistol event, Kishmala secure the bronze medal on Friday.In a highly competitive event, India took the top two spots, with 17-year-old Palak Gulia claiming gold and 18-year-old Esha Singh earning the silver medal.
However, Kishmala's historic accomplishment was a first win for Pakistan, as she became the first shooter from the country to reach the podium at the Asian Games. Ghufran finished 31st with 622.7 points, Aaqib secured 44th place with 616.7 points, and Zeeshan finished 53rd with 608.4 points.
