RAWALPINDI: Adiala Jail officials denied the transfer of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) from Attock Jail to Adiala Jail.
The Islamabad High Court had ordered the transfer of the former prime minister, detained in the cypher case, to Adiala Jail.
Chairman PTI’s lawyer Naeem Panjutha said in his statement that the former prime minister has been transferred to Adiala Jail and has been provided facilities of the former Prime Minister. On the other hand, Imran Khan’s lawyer and spokesman for legal affairs, Naeem Haider Panjutha, said that it has been found out that Chairman PTI has been shifted from Attock to Adiala Jail, but the Attock Jail is beyond comprehension.

Cyhpher Case: IHC Orders Transfer Of PTI Chief To Adiala JailIslamabad High Court has ordered the transfer of PTI Chairman, who is under arrest in the Cypher case from Attock Jail to Adiala Jail. Chief Justice Islamabad High Court issued the order on the petition filed by the PTI Chief. Justice Farooq in his remarks said that the sentence awarded to the PTI Chief in Toshakhana case has been suspended and the status of his punishment has now been changed. He further said that the Pti Chief is an under trial prisoner in Islamabad and such inmates are being kept in the Adiala Jail. Justice Farooq said he will soon issue written order in this regard. Meanwhile, hearing the bail application of the PTI Chief, Justice Farooq reserved judgment on Special Prosecutor Shah Khawar's plea regarding the in-camera trial.
