ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) suspended the sentence of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra.
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court suspended the sentence of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi’s sentences in the Toshakhana case and ordered them to be released on bail.
During the hearing, the court asked whether the appeal was scheduled for hearing today. “Will not initiate an appeal, argue for suspension of the sentence if you wish”. Chief Justice Aamer Farooq said that after hearing the Toshakhana case today, we cannot keep it for hearing tomorrow.During the hearing of the case, the NAB prosecutor said that the decision has been reviewed and this is a case of suspension of sentence. On this, the court said that this is a highly commendable stand of NAB.
