She feels 'humbled' for presenting the mega cricket event again

LAHORE – Zainab Abbas, a renowned Pakistani cricket presenter, is all set to take the stage at ICC Men’s World Cup 2023, starting on October 5 in India.

The International Cricket Council has picked the Pakistani sports reporter as presenter for the upcoming mega event. The 35-year-old also shared her feelings after she was selected for the position. Taking to social media platform X, she wrote: “There was always intrigue on what lies on the other side, more cultural similarities than differences, rivals on the field but camaraderie off the field, the same language & love for art & a country with a billion people, here to represent, to create content & bring in expertise from the best in the business”.

In May 2019, Zainab Abbas became the first woman sports reporter and commentator to cover the ICC 2019 World Cup from Pakistan.IHC reserves verdict as FIA insists on in-camera hearing of cipher caseIHC declares lower courts decision to reject PTI chief's bail pleas in 9 cases voidPrison: Pakistan officials consider a new way to boost polio vaccination
