KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party leader Dr Asim Hussain on Saturday filed a plea in the accountability court to challenge National Accountability Bureau’s jurisdiction in probing a Rs17 billion corruption case against him.

Former Minister for Petroleum, while talking to media, said as the country was going through tough times, it was an apt time to rise above political combat. “Mini budget will not help solve economic woes, albeit we have to slash our expenditures”, he added. People, he said, needed to realize what the country was going through.
