Due to constant increase in polio cases in Pakistan, Brazil has decided to donate six million polio vaccines to the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Brazilian envoy to Pakistan Olyntho Vieira held a detailed meeting with Advisor to Prime Minister on Health Dr Malik Mukhtar Ahmed in Islamabad. During the meeting, Advisor to Prime Minister on Health Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmad said Pakistan and Brazil enjoying brotherly, close and cordial friendly ties and steps will be taken to further strengthen these relations. He apprised Brazilian envoy about measures being taken to eradicate polio from the country.
They also discussed matters of mutual interest and strengthening of relations between the two countries.
