Developing: A 6-year-old girl has been found dead in the Bronx. Police say there's signs of trauma to her body and wrists. So far there have been no arrests.
They said Jalayah Eason was found unconscious and unresponsive at her apartment in the Forest Houses on East 165th Street in Morrisania. She was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police said they also found an 8-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl in the same apartment, and they too had evidence of past injuries. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
