If everybody has the same goal, we’re going to strive for that and we’re going to get there.”: What is your opinion of quarterback Jalen Mayden, getting to go against him every day in practice and what did you see in him at the scrimmage?“He’s not only a great thrower but he’s a great runner. I had the opportunity to go against him when I was playing for New Mexico and it wasn’t any easier than it is now.
“We need to be stronger ... at the point of attack and reset the line of scrimmage in our favor instead of theirs.”“I’m more than ready. Camp has been a long, hard grind, just like it is every year. The first game is always, you get the jitters out and then it’s rolling from there ... I can’t wait to see packed out for that Ohio game.”
