Five persons were hurt in a fire that gutted a residential building at the corner of Ylaya and Raja Matanda Streets in Barangay 7, Tondo, Manila on Monday, Aug. 14.
They were identified as Jane Myurrie Robleado, Ann Jonalyn Estabillo, Jose Abellano, Catherine Cerilla, and Ian Allan Guarin.
Meanwhile, police reported nine residents who suffered injuries after being hit by a responding fire truck.The nine victims of the road accident were identified as Irene Ang, Audrey Bautista, Gabriel Yap, Reynaldo Caspe, Catrina Quilang, Guarin Josh Villamina, Joselyn Lubo Acosta, Harem Yap, and Violeta Estabilo, who died due to complete avulsions and fractures on her left hand, elbow, and thigh.
