As one might expect for someone named to an All-Pro team, Warner has been a monster in the box score and on film for San Francisco all season. Playing mostly as an off-ball linebacker this year, Warner was second on the team in passes defended with 10, which ranked behind only cornerback Charavarius Ward’s 11.
Warner showed off all of his skills against the Cowboys in the divisional round on Sunday evening. There was a tackle for a loss on dynamic running back Tony Pollard early in the game when he blitzed up the middle. Five in-game minutes later, he made another nice tackle to stuff Pollard by doing a great job deconstructing a block in front of him in his pursuit of the running back.
