Police returned to the theater at about 4:46 p.m. on Friday afternoon after receiving more complaints of a person attempting to break in. The suspect, again Marx, was once again arrested on charges of attempted burglary in addition to vandalism and possession of burglary tools and is now in custody.
Perry told SFGATE on Sunday afternoon that nothing appeared to be stolen, but that the suspects went under the stage, opened it and raised the theater’s organ, in addition to making popcorn and leaving the machines on.
