Bexar County Sherriff's Office seized a large amount of drug during a routine traffic stop.
19-year-old Brian Bentancourt was arrested Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance after nearly 40,000 deadly pills were discovered in his car during a traffic stop.
The arrest occurred on Oct. 6 on the 6800 block of San Pedro Ave. Deputies made the stop after watching Bentancourt's car commit a moving traffic violation. After consenting to a search, officers noticed a powdery substance on the driver side floorboard. Bentancourt confirmed that the substance was cocaine. Following a full search of the car, two foil and duct tape wrapped packages full of about 40,000 pill were discovered. In total, the pills were worth around $120,000.
