Four people have been charged in the weekend shooting death of a 16-year-old boy that the Montgomery police chief called a horrendous crime.
They are charged with capital murder in the Sunday slaying of the teen boy. The victim’s identity has not yet been announced.Moncrief, Jones and Hamilton were taken into custody Monday. Gilmer was arrested on Tuesday.Police and fire medics were dispatched at 8:28 p.m. to a report of a person shot in the 1500 block of Hale Street.
When they arrived, they found the 16-year-old boy dead. MPD Deputy Chief John Hall said multiple shots had been fired at the teen.All four suspects are being held without bond in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
