SOME 100 homes were lost in a four-hour fire in Barangay Arena Blanco, Zamboanga City, on Monday, September 18.
Initial report from the Bureau of Fire Protection said that around 100 houses in Campung Landang and Sibictul were lost in the blaze. Profiling is being conducted by the City Social Welfare and Development Office to determine the number of victims.Mayor John Dalipe visited the area and ordered the immediate delivery of assistance to fire victims.Arson probers are still probing the cause of the fire.
