Police are still searching for the suspect who shot three people at Novo Brazil Brewing in Chula Vista on SaturdayChula Vista police are still searching for the suspect who shot three people and wounded one other on Saturday night at an Otay Ranch Town Center brewery, forcing a lockdown.
A 16-year-old boy was injured by gunshot wounds to his legs, but is expected to survive. Police believe him to have been involved in the initial dispute, the agency wrote in a press release.A bullet wounded a uninvolved 58-year-old man in the leg and a 60-year-old woman, also in the leg. They were both treated at a hospital and are expected to live, Chula Vista police said.
"We believe there was one shooter and at least two people in that group," CVPD Lt. James Petray said during a news conference."We have a group that was the suspect group, which we believe was approximately two people, potentially more."post
