BREAKING: A second suspect wanted in connection with Saturday's mass shooting on South Street was taken into custody Monday night, according to Philadelphia police.
Residents are shocked at what unfolded in their neighborhood.
Authorities said the officer who discharged his weapon is a three-and-a-half-year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department. He is assigned to the 18th District. As per protocol, the officer has been placed on administrative duty pending the outcome of the investigation.Investigators believe one of the three killed, who has since been identified as 34-year-old Greg"Japan" Jackson, was involved in"a physical altercation" with another man.
