Alexander Thomas, 28, is the second person arrested in the shooting death of 20-year-old Jakavious Meeks.
Fort Worth police responded a little before 11 p.m. Feb. 26 to a report of a dead person in the 6900 block of Ridgmar Meadow Road. Meeks died at that location from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
Court records show Thomas was sentenced to five years in prison in 2015 for aggravated robbery. He also fled from Oklahoma in 2021 after being charged with robbery there, according to court records.Williams has been in custody at the Denton County jail since April 4 after being arrested in connection with
