Although we didn't know it at the time, this blueprint would guide our approach to social-justice issues that arose over the course of the pandemic. While these beliefs and actions were first focused on supporting the Black community, they have become an invaluable working guide to how we as a company respond to injustice and address inequities overall.Every quarter, we conduct"engagement pulses" to check in with employees about top-of-mind issues and concerns.
We've also done more work to understand people's career trajectories within Cisco, examining the velocity of promotions for groups and individuals.
