A 24-year-old man is in custody after police say he fatally shot a family member in Denton.Officers were called about 8:30 p.m. Monday to the 1500 block of Bolivar Street after a 911 caller reported a shooting. Davis was detained when officers arrived.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was shot in the head and hospitalized in critical condition. She died from her injuries Tuesday evening, police said. Davis was arrested on a murder charge after her death. Police did not say how the victim was related to Davis., Breaking News Reporter
