Seahawks preseason football is here!
A new era of Seattle Seahawks football is upon us. We’ve gone from the oldest head coach in the league in Pete Carroll to the youngest in Mike Macdonald. There’s a new coaching staff, new backup quarterback, new linebackers, a new starting safety, and a prized new defensive lineman taken in the first round. The Los Angeles Chargers also have a new coaching staff and considerable roster turnover.
Former Seahawks Will Dissly and Poona Ford are among their new arrivals. Due to Olympics coverage, Seahawks vs. Chargers from SoFi Stadium will air locally on KONG 6/16 instead of KING-5 at 4 pm PT. Check your local TV listings here for the affiliate in your area if you don’t live in Seattle. As always, in the preseason we do game threads by half instead of quarters. When we get to the regular season it’ll be back to business as usual with game threads by quarter.
