This year there's a 625-hp Wrangler EV, a plug-in-hybrid 1978 Cherokee, and a 470-hp V-8 Wrangler-turned-Scrambler.
This concept will take Jeep fans back to the late '70s. The original SJ Cherokee debuted in 1974 as a two-door version of the Wagoneer, and this 1978 restomod revives the vibes of that era with its retro paint job, albeit on a heavily modified body. Its 17-inch "slotted mag" wheels are also appropriately old school, and they're wrapped with beefy 37-inch tires.What casual observers might not expect with this vintage Jeep Cherokee is that it's a plug-in hybrid.
Known as Magento, the company says this will be its final appearance at the event, and version 3.0 gets myriad notable changes. Its electric motor still operates through a manual transmission, but peak output now more than doubles at up to 625 horses and 850 pound-feet of torque.Jeep also says it updated the Magneto's electric motor to be more efficient, citing a 20 percent increase in useable energy and range.
