The “2022 Pinoy K-pop Star: Hail the Icons” contest that was being held at a mall in Pasay City on July 16 was cut short by the organizer.
“The 2022 Pinoy Kpop Star was interrupted due to unexpected safety reason and ended for safety of audience. We would like to ask everyone in the premises to please leave the vicinity calmly,” according to a statement issued by the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines, the host of the event.
“The final performer who were not able to show their talent today will be our special guests for our 2022 K-Street Festival in September. Please cheer for them! We will also find a way to include them in the 2022 Pinoy Kpop Star finalist,” KCC added. The “2022 Pinoy K-pop Star: Hail the Icons” has 10 10 participants in the vocal and performance categories.
