The Chinese Peugeot 408 sedan has nothing in common with the 408 crossover fastback that is coming in Europe

The redesigned dashboard features a high-mounted 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen with aircraft-style shortcut buttons underneath. There is also Peugeot’s signature small-diameter steering wheel and new aluminum-style trim.
Under the bonnet lies a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol engine producing 167 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front axle through a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.
