The following items were taken from the Buffalo Grove Police Department reports and news releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.Robert Wilkins, 43, of the 4000 block of West 21st Street, Chicago, was charged Aug. 3 with driving on a suspended driver’s license following an incident near Weiland and Deerfield Parkway. Wilkins is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 18 in Mundelein.
Lucia Mondragon, 20, of the 400 block of Dalton Avenue, Mundelein, was charged Aug. 3 with driving on a suspended driver’s license and having no tail lights following an incident in the 200 block of McHenry Road. Mondragon is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 8 in Mundelein.Barry Holubar, 60, of the 1300 block of Brandywyn Lane, was charged Aug.
There was a report Aug. 2 of retail theft following an incident in the 1700 block of North Buffalo Grove Road.

Nursing home patient rolls a joint, police are called: Chagrin Falls police blotterAs seen in this week’s Chagrin Falls police blotter, A nursing home staff member reported a patient, 67, was rolling a marijuana joint the morning of Aug. 10 and they wanted a police officer to take it from him. The responding officer questioned the patient who said he was a grown man and would not surrender the marijuana. The contraband was not in plain sight and the officer asked if the nursing staff could search the patient. They advised they could not. A report was filed to document the incident.
