The blaze was first reported around 5:15 a.m. at a home on West North Street in the city of York, between Newberry and Penn streets, dispatch said. The home was divided into apartments,Coroner Pamela Gay confirmed two people died, but their names, ages and genders were not immediately available. The coroner’s office is in the process of notifying next of kin.York Fire Department officials told WGAL that firefighters rescued one person from inside the home.
