Isang lalaki at isang babae na kapuwa pitong-taong-gulang ang nasawi sa magkahiwalay na insidente ng pagkalunod sa Ilocos Norte at Pampanga.
Sa ulat ng GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon nitong Lunes, sinabing nalunod ang biktimang lalaki nang maligo sa sapa sa Barangay Cangrunaan sa Batac City, Ilocos Norte noong Sabado.
"Tumakas sila papuntang sapa kasi ‘yun mahirap kasi mapakinggan lalo kapag may mga gumagamit roon ng water pump. Nagpuputol ako ng mais sa malapit roon pero 'di ko na marinig," ayon kay Darwin Binala, tiyuhin ng biktima.Labis ang lungkot ng ina ng bata dahil nasa ospital din ang mister nito at nagpapagaling sa sakit."Sinabi nila na may nalunod kaya agad akong tumakbo at tumalon na lang ako kasi gusto kong maisalba ang buhay," ani Donald Vercida.
