MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Policemen arrested 175 people engaged in illegal gambling during a weeklong anti-crime drive in Central Luzon.
The operations were conducted between Jan. 23 and Jan. 29, Police Regional Police Office 3 director Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen said in a statement.They confiscated some P115,200 bet money from the suspects, who are facing charges of violating the laws against illegal gambling, he said.FEATURED STORIES
