A 17-year-old riding a motorcycle died at noon on Monday when his bike crashed into a tractor in West Pennsboro Township, according to state police.
The teen, whose name has not been released, was riding his 1999 Kawasaki motorcycle on Route 11 when he crashed into a 2017 Kenworth truck tractor driven by Patrick Dowler of Hagerstown, Maryland, state police said. Dowler was pulling out of a driveway on the 3400 block of Ritner Highway, according to state police, when the teen’s motorcycle crashed into it.
Dowler was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured, but the teen, who was wearing a helmet, did not survive injuries, state police said.
