The NYPD is searching for the gunman who killed a 12 year old boy in East Flatbush as he ate inside a car. The 20 year old driver was also shot multiple times. The boy was shot in the head and multiple times in the body while sitting in the passenger seat of a Toyota Corolla near East 56th Street and Linden Boulevard inThe 20-year-old driver of the Toyota Corolla was also shot multiple times and taken to where she underwent surgery and was expected to survive. An 8-year-old passenger in the backseat was not struck.
Mayor Eric Adams and NYPD top brass held a late-night news conference about the shooting. Police said they were searching for two black sedans that were exchanging gunfire and fled the scene. One went down East 58th Street and the other down Linden Boulevard.
