The National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council has so far recorded 11 deaths and four injuries caused by the effects of low-pressure areas which have affected the country since Jan. 2. | zacariansINQ

According to an NDRRMC advisory on Tuesday, the casualties were recorded in Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, and BARMM.A total of 263,906 individuals or 63,101 families, were affected by the LPAs, displacing 3,387 individuals or 815 families.

The cost of damage to infrastructure is currently estimated at P125,490,260, while the damage to agriculture costs around P77,934,235.57
