However, before that, the DBZ fan-favorite didn't receive the kind of attention that made fans happy. That changed when Goku tested Gohan for the upcoming Tournament of Power which threatened to erase their universe if they lost.
3 Goku vs Hit The Universe Survival Arc's final battle between Goku and Hit managed to be one of the series' best. Also, it reinstalled faith that the series was going to be worth veteran Dragon Ball fans' attention. Universe 6 and 7's strongest fighters clashed when Goku took on the ancient assassin Hit, who'd never met a target he was not able to kill easily.
