A 46-year-old man from Mercer County was shot and killed after six rounds were fired by an unknown gunman Friday night in Trenton, officials said. Daniel Garvin, of Trenton, died from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office. The Trenton Police Department received a ShotSpotter activation, which detects gunshots, at 328 Rutherford Ave. Friday night, officials said.
