LUCENA CITY — A 17-year-old car driver died and seven motorists were injured Monday night in a collision of four vehicles in Lipa City in Batangas province.
The Batangas police said in a report Tuesday, March 28, that the victim was driving a car at 9:05 p.m. when he bumped a tricycle driven by Jomel Loto in Barangay Mabini.The impact flung the tricycle into a house at the roadside, caused the car to turn turtle, and hit another tricycle driven by Melvin Belino.
Belino’s tricycle consequently crashed into an oncoming motorcycle driven by Police Staff Sergeant Niño Ian Leynes.
