The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency tells Action 8 News that the accident happened on Alabama 14 near the 142 mile marker, approximately one mile east of Autaugaville.
26-year-old Jamarcus Thomas was fatally injured when the car he was driving collided head-on with another vehicle. Troopers say Thomas was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene. A passenger was in the car with Thomas and the driver of the other vehicle were also injured. Both were taken to Baptist South for treatment.
