Police search for alleged gunman in connection with 2021 double homicide
One person died in a triple shooting outside a southwest Houston restaurant in the 10900 block of Bissonnet on Monday, Oct. 25, 2021.Rudy Ventura, 26, has been charged with capital murder and aggravated assault on suspicion of the shooting deaths of Eliexi Arce, 40, and Elmer Coto-Maravilla, 26, according to the Houston Police Department. A third man, who was shot in the hand, survived.
The shooting happened around 1:25 a.m. Oct. 25, 2021 outside a restaurant in the 10900 block of Bissonnet Street, officials said. Witnesses told investigators an unknown man had arrived in a Nissan Titan pickup, exited the vehicle and approached three men who were standing outside the restaurant.The investigation into the double homicide had been ongoing for the past 18 months. Anyone with information as to Ventura's whereabouts was urged to contact Houston police.
