According to a report on "24 Oras," Monday, even PWDs like Even Peter Roy Garao, who has two artificial legs, donated blood to help those in need. "'Di kailangan ka maging mayaman para makapagbigay ka ng tulong sa kapwa mo," said Mel Tiangco, ambassador and special adviser of the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
"Sagip dugtong buhay, ibig sabihin madudugtungan mo 'yung buhay ng tao na magbibigay ka ng bahagi ng iyong dugo." Gwendolyn Pang, secretary general of Philippine Red Cross, said they hope to reach 70% of their annual target for blood collection with the help of their partners.For those who wish to donate funds to the cause, you may do so through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Shopee, PayMaya, Zalora, MegaMart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
