Ogden City officials are offering $1,000 for any information leading to the prosecution or arrest of anyone involved in graffiti or vandalism at local parks.

They shared that they are specifically hoping to determine anyone responsible for vandalism at public restrooms in the parks.

"Ogden city has worked to build and maintain a comfortable and inviting environment throughout Ogden parks," they shared. "When a park restroom is tagged or vandalized, it's not just a blight on all those efforts, it's often accompanied by permanent physical damage to these spaces. Repairing damage done to restrooms due to vandalism not only hampers the function of these public places but is often costly and time consuming.

Anyone with information about the vandalism was asked to contact Ogden Police Investigations at 629-8228. City officials said anyone reaching out about prior vandalism or suspicious activity may call the Community Policing Bureau at 629-8035.
